Andrew's day started a bit earlier then ours because he met with a man who will start to disciple him, Stephen McElroy. Stephen and his family have spent many years in England church planting and now they are back for a couple years. Stephen & Andrew seem to have similar personalities which have allowed them to connect on many levels.
When Andrew arrived home we packed up the kids bikes and headed to Cameron Park for a time of bike riding and letting the kids run wild in the park. They love being outside as much as they can and we were taking advantage of the weather being in the low 70's that morning.
After the kids had worn themselves out we took a short half-hour road trip to Hillsboro, TX. Hillsboro has a mini outlet mall that we walked around and exhausted the kiddos out even more:) We enjoyed a short lunch together and piled back in the van and drove back to Waco. Took naps and then off to the main event of our day...our first Baylor Bears game!
United Way here in Waco sponsored $2 tickets to the game! With a deal like that, we all went to the game...along with 42,821 other people. We met friends of ours (Carl, Jenny & Rylie)there and had a night of fun! Here are some of the pictures from the night.
