God Story - Treasure Hunting...continued

Now that you're all familiar with Treasure Hunting from last Sunday's post I have a fun story for ya'll. Thursday the first hour of class we waited on the Lord for a while and then were sent out two-by-two to share the gospel and pray for people. Although my experience was great too I want to share Andrew's story.

When he was waiting on the Lord he wrote down: brick wall and zebra print...random, I know, he almost didn't write it down. The other two guys he was paired up wrote down orange peel, biscuits and black hair among other things. So off they went to the mysterious 'brick building' the local HEB grocery brick building caught their eye so they stopped and went in. They looked all over and weren't seeing anything. Then one guy noticed that there was a girl walking by with a zebra print phone cover just barely sticking out of her pocket and she had black hair. So they decided that only two of them should approach her since three would be awkward and even more intimidating then the two guys already. So Andrew and Chase approached her and were able to share the gospel and pray for her. Although she was very receptive she was still unsure and resisted because she thought she had to be prefect before 'coming to Jesus.' She was super open and willing to talk though. The conversation ended with her not making a decision but she had lots to think about. As they were walking away from her the third guy (Casey) who was standing from afar pointed out that when they were sharing with this girl the biscuits were on one side and a poster of an orange and orange peelings were on the wall! God was after this girls heart. After making this discovery Casey walked back to the girl and showed her the pieces of paper that they wrote down from the beginning and expressed God's deep love for her and she made a decision for Christ right there in the HEB. She was so excited was visibly moved by God's expression of love for her! Yay GOD!
