Don't know what I'm doing, thankfully Jesus does

As each day goes by in Waco I realize more and more that I have no idea what I am doing. The days are filled with so many things, yet I can't really say what they are. We pray everyday for a good job to come around, we pray for direction and unity on our decisions of what to do next. There have been a lot of great things that have happened already but it isn't quite going the way we thought yet. So where does that leave us? Exactly where we were before we came down here, in the hands of Jesus! There are different responses that we can have when we face situations like these. We can wallow and blame God for not showing up like we thought He would. We can start questioning whether it was God we heard in the first place. Or we can look back at what He promised us and how many things He has done already to fulfill those promises. We are choosing the latter. No matter how things go we are choosing to trust in Jesus and wait on Him. So many times in my life I have faced decisions and instead of seeking and waiting on Jesus I took it into my own hands and rushed into what I thought was a logical decision. Not this time. I am going to follow Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." If you just wait on Him and decide to say yes to the things He puts in front of you and not worry about your own agenda things start to happen. You free yourself up to hear God more and in clearer ways. You find that He has plans for you that you never thought about. And He leads you on that straight path. So again, I have no idea what I'm doing or what is going to happen, but I'm okay with that because me and my family are in the hands of Jesus and I can't think of a better place to be.
