The Latest

So I'm trying to keep blogging at least once a week however I'm finding that it's hard to blog when there is so much going on. I know, I know you probably don't think that makes any sense but it's true. There's too many options of what to write about is my problem so I get discouraged and then don't write about anything:) I'll try not to do that.

So here's that latest on the Europe trip (5 weeks away!). We met with our leaders of the trip on Saturday, Casey & Heather Goff are their names. So from here on out when I mention "the other couple" or "our leaders" you'll know who I'm referring too. The Goff's are from Memphis but have been here in TX for years now. Casey is on our Elevate PM staff and Heather is an accountant for Antioch's mission branch known as AMI. We are in good hands:) Our team consists of 4 members - us and the Goffs:) Originally about 10 people were considering the trip but because of various reasons in the end it's us 4. So we met Saturday to discuss details, locations, research, vision, etc. We were very encouraged by all the information and will continue to research more organizations to meet with while we are there.

The meeting also consisted of a time where we listened to an amazing talk by Graham Cooke - wow! I totally recommend listening to The Nature of God (it's found on youtube in 2 parts). Amazing - life changing 20 min talk and I'm not kidding. Great tool for your quiet times! All in all I was excited and encouraged by our meeting.

Another PRAISE - when we walked out to get our mail after our meeting our first support checks arrived!!! We are so encouraged by the love and support from you all. This trip and others like it, wouldn't be possible without givers and prayer warriors like you all! Thank you, Thank you!
