The Best Date Ever!!!

So like I said in yesterdays post, Andrew brought home flowers at lunch and then last night we went on a date. Andrew planned the whole date so it all was a mystery to me. I like surprises however I found myself asking a hundred questions which ended with him saying..."do you just want to know what we're doing?" Um...I really did want to know but I also wanted to be surprised so the excitement of a surprise won over.

We started out parking at Indian Springs Park and walked to the Suspension Bridge. We stopped and talked and prayed with two homeless men and gave out waters. Andrew then told me we were going to throw tortillas off the bridge with the objective of trying to land them on an old bridge pillar (a Waco college 'date night'tradition). Andrew made 6 and I sadly only landed 2, but it was so FUN! Here are the pics to prove it:)




After the tortilla throwing we walked around and Andrew gave me a special gift:) Then we walked downtown to some cute shops, had dinner at a BBQ place, went to Starbucks (where we shared a seasonal drink) and then picked up a coat for Sydney! We had such a great time talking to each other and getting to share/talk with different people we encountered throughout the night. What a memorable day!! Thank you, thank you to an amazing man!
