What a Day and Night!

Oh, what an awesome day yesterday was! From beginning to end God was faithful. Most of the day we were waiting on the Lord with friends of ours who are in Elevate too because they didn't have all of their tuition money and it was due by 6pm that night. So all day we were waiting in great expectation that the Lord was going to do something impossible. They had no idea where this money would come from but we believed with them. They showed up in faith to class and still no money. The director showed them grace and gave a time-line in which the money absolutely had to be in by and we were all excited that they had more time. Today we got a call from them and they had just received a call themselves from the school saying an anonymous donor paid their tuition in full!!! Praise God for his timing and doing the impossible!

Class last night was overwhelmingly wonderful! There was such a sense of excitement and expectation of what God has in store for us all this year. We are being challenged and stretched even from the beginning. A long (but fun) night of expectations and requirements ended with an amazing time of focused worship and students from past Elevate classes came and prayed over us all individually. Personally, Andrew and I were so encouraged and excited about what was spoken into our lives just last night! We kept saying to each other, "this is only the beginning!"

Thank you too for all the prayers for the transition for Sydney and Aaron. Although they are still in the process of transitioning...Kate said the kids did great and went to bed with little effort. Yay! They played games, colored, and had lots of fun with her. When Sydney got up this morning she was telling me how much she liked Miss Kate and that she was her favorite. She said, "she sang us songs before we went to bed too-like Jesus Loves Me." What a comfort to know they are being well cared for in all areas!
