So we decided that the last 5 haircuts that Aaron had were some-what unsatisfying and Daddy had enough. He decided to start playing barber and create a mini-me! He are the cute results;)

A Big Thank You!

I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you to everyone who is supporting us in many different ways. Thank you to our prayer warriors warring for us as we plow through this year with the challenges of juggling family, class, serving, finances, spiritual warfare, etc. Your prayers are powerful and effective and we have felt them all. We've seen so many answers to pray this year it's been incredible!

Thank you to our financial supporters who have provided so selflessly to fund our mission trips! You play a key role. You are allowing us to pursue what we feel God has called us to in this season of life. You are having an impact on the Kingdom and your inheritance is great!

We also want to say thank you to our supporters who felt lead to give for other financial expenses we've had. We have been completely blown away by the generosity of others. God has used people to specifically give to us for anything from doctor's bills all the way to funding a vacation. God has used you to increase our faith and our trust in him. Whenever there has been a financial need God has always come through. We are so grateful and are so blessed to have friends and family that are listening and responding to God! These gifts are developing our faith and spur us on to continue to pray, listen and obey!

Sydney 5th b-day!

So here are the pictures from Sydney's 5th birthday party. Although we were sad not to share Sydney's birthday with any family this year we did recruit our family down here this year to help us celebrate! We shared this wonderful time with two of our Elevate families and good friends the McCormicks and the Montgomery's! There were 6 adults and 7 kids who all made there way down to San Antonio, TX for a weekend of fun. We stopped by the Alamo & The Riverwalk on Saturday and that night had a pool and pizza party for Sydney's birthday. The hotel rooms even had bunk beds for the kiddos! It all ended on Sunday, browsing the outlet malls in San Marcos. What a memorable birthday for Sydney! Happy Birthday Sweetheart - We love you!

First Peru Gathering

On Saturday we got together with our Peru Team...wahoo! We are so excited about the group of people we will be spending 2 weeks this summer with. There are 11 adults and 5 kids. About half way through the picnic Sydney comes running up to me and says, "everyone here is going to Peru too!" The joy! All her new best friends are going. Pictured below is Caleb a boy one month younger then her as we start the "Civil War" balloon battle. We were technically the only 'northerners' so we recruited some more to make even teams. The kids and adults had a great time!

On another note...we will be taking a short break (2 weeks) from email, internet, blogging, FB, movies, tv, radio/any music. So, if you would like to get a hold of us for any time sensitive things in the next couple weeks please call us:) I'll be sure to take lots of pictures from Sydney's b-day and update the blog in a couple weeks for our family that will probably want to see those:)
