We leave in a month! Here's the plan...
Yes, you read that right, we leave for Budapest in one month! It has been quite the ride to get to this point and there is plenty left to do in the next four weeks. Here is what our next month will look like...
* Finish all the paperwork needed to obtain things like visas in Hungary, international driver's license, shipping our things, and a million other little details.
* Packing all the things we will need to bring over. This is a bigger task than you might think.
* Saying "see you later" to friends and family.
* Baby appointments for Susan. We get to find out the baby's gender before we leave!
* You are all invited to our farewell open house on Sunday, February 15th in Sioux Falls at Mert and Lin VanHofwegen's home (more details to come on this).
* We drive to Minneapolis/St.Paul on Feb. 24th and fly out on Wednesday, Feb. 25th!
We are so excited! Our team leaders, Casey and Heather, just arrived in Budapest on Saturday and are awaiting our family. It is getting real and we can't wait to get there.
Just returned from Texas
We spent this last week in Waco, TX wrapping things up there. We turned in a lot of paperwork, were prayed for in church and by the Antioch staff, and got to see lots of friends.
We also had a team meeting with our entire team before Casey and Heather left for Budapest. By the way, we have great team leaders! We also have another family that has joined our team and will arrive in Budapest late 2015/early 2016. We are excited to have them join us! We love our team and are excited to go on this adventure with them!
Thank You! Thank you! Thank you!
We want to say thank you again to everyone who is supporting us on this journey! Whether through prayer or finances or any other way, we have felt so loved and encouraged in every step. Again, we cannot do this without you. We need people like you supporting us and truly believe that this is a team and everyone's part is crucial to seeing God's kingdom expand!
We have all the funds we need to make it to Budapest! However, this does not include a car, which would make life much easier for our growing family. If you feel led to give toward this please see the side bar giving instructions. Thank you!
