On The Road Again

Don't know why this didn't publish when I wrote it but here it is now!

It's been 18 days since we left Waco for the mid-west!  We made the road trip of 18ish hours with a few stops in between.  We felt all the prayers for travel mercies because it was by far the smoothest trip up north we've had.  The kids did so well with minimal complaints.  The worst thing was wondering the entire drive up if our van was going to make it.  It had been acting up a bit before the trip and we were slightly worried but didn't have time to bring it anywhere.  We were relieved we made it to the car garage we use in South Dakota after was found out that the steering was shot an the brakes needed work. Oh the adventures!

Our time on the road has been good.   We spent a couple days in Sioux City, Iowa with Susan's parents.  We were blessed to share in their church and make a couple new friends from Arizona.  We then headed north past Sioux Falls, SD (40 more mins) to Andrew's parents farm where we have established our 'home base' ever since.  We aren't used to being on the run as a family but we are adjusting for this season.  Naps happen when possible and food of all sorts are consumed :)

We have had wonderful times with family and friends.  Even though this trip is focused on raising support for Hungary we have been so blessed to get time with family and friends in the midst of it.  We have been on a visit to the zoo, over for meals, celebrated graduations and birthdays and soon we'll celebrate a new nephew or niece (any day now)!!

Overall, our prayer requests consist of making connections with our partners and balancing family-life while on the go!  Thank you for all your prayers so far!  We feel them daily.
