New Beginnings

"At the end of each season there is a new beginning around the corner." This from one of the books I'm currently reading.  I'm also reminded of Eccleiastes 3:1 where it says, "for everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven."  So here we are at the beginning of a new season.  It's been a little over a month since we've gotten back from Peru and 26 days since we left Waco.  We are still attempting to get our house set up which makes Andrew and I just a little crazy.  We are working on this though.  We are being taught lessons each day in how to rest.  This comes in many forms.  Saying 'no' is one of them.  Saying no is something that we have to learn as a couple to do more often.  It's just that we really like saying Yes most of the time.  There's usually something that can be squeezed in and we are 'high capacity' right?  Hum...those are just some of the thoughts that continue to get us in to trouble as we look back after a super busy week and think "how did we get so busy?" :)  So in this next season we feel like one of the main goal is to REST!! That is a bit intimidating to us but much much needed for this 'high pace' family of ours.  So the next time we talk you get to ask me how we are doing resting (resting in life, resting in the Lord, resting as a family, resting in all things)!  Deal? And just for the record we love you all and if we've said (or say) no to you...it probably took alot for us to do it AND it's meant in love!
